DEDALUS Project Kick-off Meeting in Athens Sets the Stage for a Sustainable Energy Future

Updated: Jun 1, 2023

🚀 Exciting News! Kick-off Meeting for Project DEDALUS in Athens Tomorrow! 🌍

We are thrilled to announce the kick-off for the groundbreaking project DEDALUS (Data-driven Residential Energy Carrier-agnostic Demand Response Tools and Multi-value Services).

DEDALUS aims to revolutionize the way we approach residential energy consumption and demand response, and it is a collaborative effort that will design, develop, and demonstrate a Social Science and Humanities (SSH)-driven multi-value energy carrier-agnostic micro-to-macro participatory Demand Response (DR) ecosystem. Its primary goal is to facilitate and scale up residential energy consumers' massive participation in demand response initiatives.

This project is set to transform the way we consume and manage energy in our homes and communities. By leveraging data-driven insights and innovative technologies, DEDALUS will empower residential energy consumers to actively participate in demand response, contributing to a more sustainable and efficient energy future.

We at Blueprint Energy Solutions are honoured to be part of this initiative, and will lead WP2 (Socio-economic enablers for stimulating participatory, multi-value, and energy carrier-agnostic residential DR). In addition, we will provide support consumer engagement #nudging technology adaptation and oversee the Austrian pilot implementation.

DEDALUS's impact will be validated through five full-scale pilots conducted by Front Runners and replicated by two Multipliers across seven countries. This multi-dimensional approach ensures the real-world effectiveness and scalability of the solutions developed within the project.

Stay tuned for updates on the exciting progress we'll be making in the coming months as we work towards creating a more sustainable and participatory energy ecosystem. Together, we can make a difference!
